Doctorbags.shop specializes in doctor bags, redeemed bags and luxury travel bags. The people behind Multicentive, the parent company of Doctorbags.shop and our own brand McFermoir, have more than 20 years experience with the design, import and distribution of various types of work bags and promotional bags for the Dutch and Belgian market. A large part of the doctor's bags we design and manufacture ourselves in cooperation with a number of bags workshops in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy.
Craftsmanship
All our medical bags, bag packs and travel bags are quality products one by one and the result of traditional craftsmanship. Each bag is made by hand and is therefore unique.
Environmentally friendly
We ensure that only superior materials are used in the production. In addition, we value that these materials are produced as environmentally friendly as possible. Practically all leather is tanned with vegetable extracts for that reason. Tanning is done at tanneries in Europe that work according to strict guidelines, taking into account people and the environment.
Quality marks
Much of our teachings are both vegetable-tanned and from organic cows. This leather comes from Germany and meets the following quality marks:
The Italian leather we are currently working with has, among other things, the Pelle Conciata already Vegetale in Toscana quality mark. This means that the leather is vegetable tanned in Tuscany.
No child labor
Our medical bags are made in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy by workshops with which we maintain close contacts. This allows us to guarantee that no child labor occurs during the production of our bags.
Characteristic leather
Every doctor's bag is made entirely by hand, so that a unique product is created time after time. Because we work with as natural as possible leather, insect bites, neck folds and other minor damage can be seen. This gives the leather a special and organic character. This contributes to the unique character of each copy. The more a doctor's bag is used, the more beautiful and smoother the leather becomes.
Maintenance tip
To ensure that the leather remains supple, you can regularly rub the leather with leather wax. Small scratches will disappear as a result. The doctor's bag is and remains even more beautiful. Note that after the purchase of a doctor's bag the leather can give off somewhat in the beginning. This will decrease after a few uses.
